    • Brick, New Jersey: After flushing her drugs down the toilet, an officer [Detective Philip Emanuele, 33] asked a woman for sexual favors, he admits. He pleaded guilty to criminal coercion and tampering with physical evidence in a plea bargain that calls for a probationary term. ow.ly/ee0HL
    • Prince George's County, Maryland: A Washington, D.C. police officer [Richard Merritt] has filed a $3 million lawsuit against two Prince George County officers [Jorgaq Shkurti, Harkirat Singh].     • Orlando, Florida: An officer [Officer Danny Sidders, 43] who was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence was suspended following an internal affairs review. bit.ly/SzqpS7

    • Update: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania: The officer [Lt. Jonathan Josey] that punched a woman [Aida Guzman] at a neighborhood street party is being suspended for 30 days with the intention to dismiss him.     • Update: White Plains, New York: A third party review of the incident deemed a shooting death justified. Said one of the committee members who reviews the case: “the shooting [by Officer Anthony Carelli] of Mr. [Kenneth] Chamberlain was totally justified and took place only after negotiations and all non-lethal means were unsuccessful and Mr. Chamberlain came at a police sergeant with a knife.” bit.ly/SDw1GL
    • Los Angeles, California: A jury has awarded $3.2 million to a mentally ill woman [Valerie Allen] who sued after police shot her and shocked her with a Taser.
