City Officer Sentenced to House Arrest for Perjury

A Baltimore City Police Officer will serve six months of house arrest for lying on a search warrant. Detective Adam Lewellen was sentenced to three years behind bars, with all but six months suspended and 300 hours of community service. Police say in March of 2012 Lewellen lied about a drug sale to get a search and seizure warrant. Prosecutors say he then interfered with an investigation into his actions.
