  1. Here are the 10 reports of police misconduct tracked for Friday, April 18, 2014:

    • Update: Andover, Massachusetts (First reported 12-06-13): A patrolman [Officer Evan Robitaille] was indicted by a grand jury on charges of drunken driving, leaving the scene of an accident, reckless operation of a motor vehicle and misleading a police officer.
    • San Francisco, California: A police officer [Damien Matthew Reyes] was arrested at work on suspicion of injuring his wife during an argument.
    • Osceola County, Florida: A deputy [Deputy Marc John Jordanides] has been charged with bribery after he told a woman he would drop charges against her if she gave him nude photographs.
    • Baltimore, Maryland: A police officer [Officer Anthony Williams] has been sentenced to 45 days in jail for assaulting a drug suspect [Antoine Green] in police custody. The officer did himself no favors by claiming what he did the night of the drug arrest he’d do again.
    • Hightstown, New Jersey: The borough will pay a councilman [Councilman Rob Thibault] $200,000 to settle the lawsuit he filed, after judges ruled he was unfairly pulled over and ticketed by a borough police officer [Sergeant Ben Miller] during his unsuccessful mayoral campaign.
    • Denver, Colorado: A police detective [Detective Michael Ryan] who led the investigation into alleged prostitution use by a federal judge is himself now under investigation for allegedly soliciting a prostitute.
    • Asbury Park, New Jersey: The police department has launched an internal investigation into reports of police brutality against citizens [Shakeria Hill, Knoryl Hammer and others] during a large fight. The police chief said a number of community members contacted police and said officers were overly aggressive.
    • Exeter, Pennsylvania: A police sergeant [Sergeant Len Galli] was suspended from his job for using his work computer to watch graphic pornography and arrange sexual relationships online.
    • Greenville, North Carolina: A police officer [Officer Heriberto Calles] is accused of tampering with evidence and obstructing justice. Authorities say the officer faces these charges stemming from a domestic call.
    • Santa Fe, New Mexico: A police officer [Officer Jose Gutierrez] has resigned after being accused of using excessive force against a taxi driver [Dawn Bourgeois] who was arrested during a traffic stop.
