• San Francisco, California: A deputy sheriff [Manconia Tamika Green, 36] is facing misdemeanor charges stemming from an off-duty incident when she, accompanied by two friends, allegedly forced her way into a man’s house, brandished a pistol, and threatened him. • Update: King County, Washington: A family has reached a $1.478 million settlement with the county. An officer [Deputy Matthew Paul] assaulted a man [Christopher Harris], and the department covered up the evidence. The judge said, “Defendant King County’s lack of effort and pattern of deliberate indifference with respect to producing responsive information to Plaintiff Harris is reprehensible. This reckless indifference in its failure to produce these three documents – documents that were indisputably relevant – is the functional equivalent of intentional misconduct.” ow.ly/fAoEh
